Tim Householter

My experiences have lead me to work on a diverse set of projects including Identity, Visual Design, UX, and packaging projects.

My style brings together creative whitespace and bold typography. The curiosity to explore new ideas, compositions, and tools keeps my love of design burning inside. I’ve produced a high-level of work for both big and small companies. I bring agency experience to the table along with a desire to always create the best experiences for people.

Transom Design is a creative agency based in Seattle, WA specializing in branding, web, visual, and packaging design. I started working here as an intern and have sense grown into a more senior role. My duties include:

  • Designed and executed Identity projects for a full range of clients
  • Brought together industry leading design tools to provide clients with a clear idea of our design
  • Balanced multiple projects at a time and kept them on schedule
  • Communicated with developers to ensure project meets design specs
Freelance Designer

May 2014 — Present

Working with a variety of clients designing websites, printed material, and identities. Being a freelance designer has been very rewarding and I’ve learned a ton about communication, budgeting, and managing expectations. Although tough to balance a full time job and freelancing on the side I enjoy the challenge. Freelancing has opened many doors and I’ve met many talented goal driven people. My favorite part of freelancing is seeing clients excited about their project and wanting to continue pushing for more great design.
